Recently, a follower of this blog asked a few questions and had some interesting observations about this year (2024) compared to last year (2023). While an apples-to-apples comparison is impossible, since we're only 6 months into 2024, some trends indicate 2024 will not be a rerun of 2023.
On this date in 2023, there were 13 homicides. For this year (2024) the total is 18.
